We launch in one week! I cannot believe how fast the past 12 months have gone by. I created this show using my own resources to fund a small crew to travel, film, edit and produce an 11-episode (30 minutes each) series that I hope will enchant, inspire and motivate people from across the globe to do everything they can to protect this beautiful planet. I'm incredibly heartened about Gen Z and young eco-entrepreneurs who recognize they must act now to ensure they have an inhabitable future for generations to come. They understand the stakes. We conducted several focus groups with young men and women before we embarked on this journey and their top 3 issues were: the environment, mental health and racial/gender equity. We showcase this intersectionality across our episodes. The environment was SUCH a big issue for young people that they felt like it was a nearly impossible enigma to solve. My Dad had an expression that struck me when I heard that comment; he'd say, when you're a facing a problem so big that you don't know where to start, choose a bite-sized piece and start there. So if I can encourage you to do one thing, take one step to create a more sustainable future and to act NOW, this journey will have been worth every penny.
